What we did for the event

The GREENTECH Festival offers companies and visitors the opportunity to network with the latest trends in green technology and exchange inspiring ideas. Year after year, the festival attracts well-known companies, experts and decision makers and creates an atmosphere of change and commitment to a sustainable future. In order to fully exploit the potential of this event, the festival team relied on chaanz.

The collaboration between GREENTECH Festival and chaanz went far beyond a simple service. chaanz is an agile start-up that specializes in individual needs for events. The close and friendly cooperation made it possible to implement an event app that perfectly matches the festival's corporate identity and required virtually no additional effort for the organizers.

A study by the Fraunhofer Institute and the German Convention Bureau (GCB) has shown that networking is the main reason for 91% of visitors to attend an event. With chaanz, networking became the central element of the GREENTECH Festival. chaanz is not only an event app, but also offers an innovative feature for networking and matchmaking with “Real-Life Matching”.

Thanks to chaanz's white label solution, the event app was seamlessly integrated into the festival. The app not only provided visitors with information about the program and the event, but also made it possible to specifically find valuable contacts and arrange direct meetings — in real time. Through the exhibitor profiles, partners were able to specifically invite interested visitors to their stand within a few minutes.

An exciting cooperation between chaanz, Audi and the GREENTECH Festival brought additional added value for visitors. Audi represented a meeting point for matches exclusively in the app's interactive event map. Through this cooperation, Audi was able to receive thousands of high-quality touchpoints and connect the brand with the emotional theme of getting to know new people.

The figures speak for themselves: The GREENTECH Festival had around 14,000 visitors, and thanks to the CHAANZ platform, we were able to arrange 5,817 direct personal meetings (real life matches) with just a few activations. chaanz ensured that users did not get lost in endless chats, but got to know each other on a personal level. Each user had an average of 1.4 1:1 meetings directly on site on the days of the event.

In addition to the Audi Meeting Point, chaanz also offered a networking area. The CHAANZ team was available for visitors to receive matches and provide a space for exchange. The networking area was actively moderated and supplemented with physical matchmaking, such as a matchmaking wall.

The GREENTECH Festival was looking for a new and easy way of networking and matchmaking that stood out from everything the market has had to date.
