Background to the collaboration

As Germany's largest platform for founders and entrepreneurs, the Entrepreneur University sets standards for events and continuing education with its annual highlight, the Founder Summit. Visitors to the summit expect a user-friendly, interactive map that provides them with orientation and information in real time. However, previous digital maps did not meet the high expectations of users, as they often only provided static views. With this need, Entrepreneur University turned to chaanz to develop a digital card that meets innovative requirements and creates a seamless, modern user experience.

Why Chaanz

Entrepreneur University had specific requirements for a partner who not only had technical expertise but also a deep understanding of modern user experiences. chaanz impressed with its expertise in user-centered design and interactive map technologies. It was particularly important that chaanz was able to offer not only a functional but also an aesthetically appealing solution. Chaanz's experience in designing user-friendly maps for a new generation of users was an ideal match for the requirements and goals of Entrepreneur University.

The most important requirements and their implementation by chaanz

1. Maximum interactivity: Entrepreneur University emphasized the importance of genuine card interactivity. Visitors should not only passively consume information, but should also be able to actively interact with the map. This interactivity was implemented by integrating functions such as location search, retrieval of additional information, directions and real-time navigation. chaanz ensured that all interactions are simple and intuitive so that using the map is not only helpful but also pleasant.‍
2. True-to-scale and detailed visualization: Another key requirement was to translate complex Founder Summit site plans into an understandable, true-to-scale presentation. Users should always have a clear overview of the site and be able to orient themselves without any difficulties. Chaanz developed a visual solution that depicts the actual dimensions of the event in detail and enables structured navigation. This proved to be a decisive factor in optimising the usability of the map and increasing visitors' quality of stay.‍
3. Modern and attractive design: For Entrepreneur University, the visual design of the card was an important point in meeting the expectations of a tech-savvy audience. Chaanz relied on a modern, minimalistic design and thus enables seamless integration into the digital environment of the event. This design helps motivate users to explore the terrain, thereby increasing both the engagement rate and the satisfaction of app users.‍
4. Expanded features and added value for app use: In addition to the card itself, Entrepreneur University wanted the app to act as a central hub for information about the Founder Summit. By integrating the card into chaanz's comprehensive app structure, users have access to a wide range of other content and functions: event updates, session schedules, lectures and additional information can thus be accessed at any time and make it easier to plan their own stay.‍
5. Gamification and interactive elements: To further improve the user experience, chaanz relied on gamification elements within the map. For example, users can discover various “points of interest” that have been set up specifically for the Founder Summit, or take part in a competition in which they can win special benefits or prizes by exploring the map and reaching specific areas. These elements not only increase interactivity, but also make the card more lively and fun to use.‍
